RE: New PrusaPrinters - The best 3D model database and community!
Thank you for the detailed response. At least you filled in the holes in my memory. I'm 'old and slow' and I just want to be sure that I was not missing something here.
Funny about the 'free coffee' expression. I usually tell makers that I like a good piece of chocolate instead. One maker actually sent me a whole collection of chocolate in the mail (once we exchanged a few emails). So many nice people out there.

Zip compress the files, and they should attach to the Forum, as normal

It seems we can't upload files other than gcode, stl or amf/3mf. I tried uploading the Fusion 360 source file with no luck. I'd also like to upload some OpenSCAD source code. It seems I still have a need for Thingiverse. Hopefully these issues will be ironed out soon.
RE: New PrusaPrinters - The best 3D model database and community!
Hi, I know you support uploading gcode files and all but what I have read online (and in my own preferences) people don't use these gcodes. I both feel I could break my printer by running some random online gcodes but also because I have a very custom profiles in prusa slicer. But on the other hand I love to be able to view the estimate time on printables.com, so why not have the best of both worlds?
What if we could upload gcodes and mark them somehow so people can't download them, but still show the estimate time on the model.
RE:

I have uploaded Fusion 360 .f3d files many times, no problem.
The add files box says:
Supported files: 3ds, 3mf, ai, amf, bgcode, blend, cdr, csv, ctb, dwg, dxf, f3d, f3z, factory, fcstd, gcode, gif, iges, ini, ino, ipt, jpeg, jpg, lys, lyt, obj, pdf, ply, png, py, rsdoc, scad, shape, shapr, skp, sl1, sl1s, sldasm, sldprt, slvs, step, stl, stp, studio3, svg, txt, webp, zip, zpr
OpenSCAD files: I usually upload the as .txt files and just state in the model description that they need to be renamed to .scad

I always upload my custom gcodes exackly just for that - tho show print material usage and print time estimation.
They are always estimations anyway.
Also I just add into the description that the gcode has custom code for time lapse videos so that people are not scared that the printer does weird moves.
See my GitHub and printables.com for some 3d stuff that you may like.

How long before I can post without mod approval?
Button for PDF file missing
I posted a model about nine days ago and I do not see the 'PDF' button to download the instructions for other makers.

All my previous models have that download 'PDF' option. Does it just take a long time for Printables to create the PDF, or has that feature been dropped?
