MK3S to MK4 Update - heat bed
Hi Everyone,
I remember seeing something listed under the order/shipping information page that if you had an early MK3/3S that you would also receive a new heatbead. I think it had to do with the connections being soldered instead of screw connections or something like that. Anyway, I no longer see that information on the order/shipping information page. Does any one else remember this and for those of you who have upgraded to the MK3.9/4 that had an early MK3 did you receive a new heatbed?

I have ordered 4 kits for myself and friends. We have 2 older MK3s and 2 newer ones. The order was placed on April 3rd - at that time there was no such option. Instead, I received a questionnaire in August that asked about the differences between the old and new MK3s. I couldn't fill out the questionnaire because of the 4 kits. Instead, I turned to the support chat. They assured me that they would inform the shipping department.
Unfortunately, I received the 4 kits at the beginning of November without the heating bed and (PE & Power-Panic) cable. The two heating beds were delivered to me very quickly, but I only received the cables this Monday.
This afternoon I was finally able to complete the conversion. However, I was able to put the converted MK4 into operation beforehand because I left out the PE cable and hacked the Power Panic cable. 🙂
