I've been a Member since 5/30/2019 . I can't message anyone . I;m Classified as a New Member and when i post something i get this Awaiting moderation can someone please tell me what is going on thank for your help

You need to post a few times before the posts aren't moderated (I think it's 5) and a few more before you can message people (I think it's 10)

Most forums I've seen are the same way. Membership level (short of donation) is based on post count. It's too hard to moderate that many membership levels once a board gets large enough any other way.

I joined the forums today in order to look for advice on printing, but my posts have been '(!) Awaiting Moderation' for 3 hours, now. How long does it normally take for posts to get approved for display? Do I have to comment on others' posts before I can have mine seen? I'd love to get some veteran advice so I can get back to printing.

The Moderators are users who work in their spare time.

I understand, and I apologize for my impatience. I could not find any information on the process other than '5 posts', and my frustration with print failures had eroded my manners somewhat. I appreciate your reply and PM.
