Mark all read link in forum
Is there any way to make the 'Mark all read' link in this forum only act on the particular forum you are in?
I don't want it to mark-as-read every post in every group on all forums - that seems excessive. I would like to navigate to a forum, read what I want, then mark this forum as read. Then move on to another to another forum and have it highlight what I have not yet read in that forum.
Thoughts?
RE: Mark all read link in forum
Unfortunately, this is caused by the very backward and outdated software of this forum, suitable for the end of the last century. I guess it's because the software is developed directly in Prusa (I could be wrong) and Prusa doesn't want to give it up for some reason. However, there are new, modern software and open source (I don't want to list them). Another problem with this forum is the constant return of old, long-read topics as new ones. This also annoys me a lot. And your idea is good, but as I wrote above, unfortunately....
RE: Mark all read link in forum
I open interesting sections in new tabs and then click mark all as read and close the tab. Then the opened tab shows up wit undrad topics and i click specific ones in new tabs as well and delete the tab. So far this works best.
Regarding returning topics, this is unfortunately a nightmare of every forum out there, because people do not really take any effort to do a basic search prior posting on the forum. Why search for 15min if you can wait to about 8h 😉
