Looking for some help to rework a print

Hi! I have a stl that I would like to have one of the sizes changed. Would anyone be willing to help a beginner out to change this model to fit properly?

Of course great appreciation for any help!!

If interested I can send stl file and explain what I need done to it.

Thanks!

Hello,

You can scale up or down in PrusaSlicer. An STL file can also be modified to a limited depth with the freeware tool "meshmixer". FreeCad can convert STL to STEP data, which can then be modified on many CAD systems. FreeCad is also free of costs.

wbr,

Karl

I presume this is not your design ... so:

What is the source?  Do you have access to the source file(s)?

Does the licence include permission to remix?

No source files?  Depending on the work required it might be quicker to redesign from scratch.  What are you trying to do?

RE:

can you attach or put a link to the files?
and what size would you like the holes to be?
it looks threaded, what is the thread size and pitch?

Just take a cylinder (or tube) with the desired radius and subtract it from the mesh, then add another (threaded?) tube of the new size - all fairly straightforward but it would be better in the source file than the mesh.

RE:

Can you upload or link the STL file? The hole looks like an inner thread? What dimensions do you need (diameter, pitch, thread profile)?
