I live in California and I have been buying my PETG directly from Prusa. Takes about 3 days to get here.

You're not limited to Amazon. Try some of the 3D printing companies that support our community directly:

• MatterHackers has a wide variety of filaments and 3D printing supplies. MatterHackers produces their own filament, including their “Build” economy series, as well as stocking several popular brands. They offer free shipping that is as fast as Amazon Prime. Free shipping.

• MicroCenter resells Inland filament both online and in their brick & mortar stores. Inland PLA+ is reportedly repackaged eSun PLA+, and is consistently good quality. MicroCenter also sells limited quantities of specialty filaments.

• PrintedSolid offers free 3-6 day shipping and a wide variety of filaments and 3D printing supplies. PrintedSolid produces their own “Jessie” series filament as well as a variety of other brands. Free shipping on orders over $45.

• FilamentOne manufactures filament in-house, and offers free shipping in the US.

• Partsbuilt 3D is a small 3D shop that offers some interesting products and filaments. Shipping is not free, but service is fantastic. They’re happy to accommodate odd requests.

Interesting. They seem to sell ONLY PETG. Cheap prices though.

They're in Los Angeles County; I'm in Los Angeles County.

• 2:59PM Placed an order and received email confirmation.
• 3:10PM Received email from them with tracking number.
• 3:19PM UPS sent me an email saying my package will be arriving tomorrow.

Won't be able to test it until my Mini+ arrives in 4 weeks. 😀 KEKW

Amazon will ship PETG to California - Sunlo will not.  I asked Amazon about that a couple of years back and they pointed to Sunlu.

I have purchased Hatchbox PETG from Amazon (having what I want in stock is always a problem) and eSun PETG with no problems at all and I live in SoCal.

I prefer the Hatchbox but eSun is a close second and would have tried Sunlo albeit the problem with not shipping to California.

Too bad, Sunlu is good stuff.  Have you tried to order it from AliExpress?

Matterhackers is also located in California, southern LA area, I assume Orange County.  So they should not have any problems shipping PETG.

I would guess Sunlu doesn't want to put the California prop 65 warning on their packaging.

I never pursued the matter with Sunlo so no idea.  On the other hand, there are a fair number of companies that won't come to California and my guess they don't want to deal with political and legal environment here.

Hey! Thanks for the AliExpress tip on SunLo. When my supplies start to run low I will give that a try as well as Matter hackers.

Thanks, I will definitely keep that vendor in mind.

I'm usually hesitant to order unknown brands of filaments from unknown suppliers, but when someone has good luck with them I will definitely consider ordering from them, assuming they have what I want, of course.

Also, as an aside, on this forum I think it's best to make postings in public, particularly if you think that others will be interested.

California filament is a quality vendor if you need PETG.

They sell filament at the Micro Center in Tustin(Orange County). They have PLA, ABS, PETG, and TPU in many different colors. Maybe more types. Those are just the ones I can remember.
