Loading filament while printing. Anyone else do this?
Does anyone else follow the filament in while printing rather than a filament change?
I started doing this because losing pressure during the filament change would result in a void while it builds pressure again.
So I decided to try and follow the filament in while it was still printing as the PTFE tube is so close to the gears, and it worked.
If I'm around I do this every time now. I cut the ends flat to ensure maximum victory, haven't had a fail yet.

yep. I've done that to use up a bunch of shorter scraps in short succession, or when I want a colour change to fade in gradually.
... or if I'm just not interested in having it pause and make a blob

You folks are more coordinated than I.

To think is an original thought... laughable, really. I've been doing this from day one.
Wow, you're such a hero! Thanks for your constructive comments. I don't see anyone claiming they invented the method, just thought it would be interesting to hear from other people. Is this forum like, 90% wankers? Are all 3D printing forums like this, or just Prusa?

Not the forum, it's just you. You seem to have that effect on people.

Yeah think it's just you Timbo, nothing I said invited your bullshit. You're such an alpha, we should make out... 😘
