Laser-safe materials?

I was wondering if folks had any experience with printing using laser-safe materials, as I'm looking to make some jigs and registration / alignment markers for use with a CO2 laser. In particular, those kinds of parts aren't intended to be cut or etched, but they still need to not off-gas toxic fumes in case a mistake causes the beam to cross into jigs and markers.

It looks like polycarbonate is laser-safe (it just comes out ugly, but that's not a concern if you're not trying to cut or etch), but I wasn't sure what all materials were added into the Prusament PC blend, and whether those additives are laser-safe as well. Similarly, the material data sheet for Polymaker PC just lists "≥ 80% PC," but doesn't say what other materials are blended in. The Filatech page on PC filament doesn't specify purity or additives at all either.

If anyone has any experience or suggestions, would greatly appreciate it! 💕
