Is there a way to promote a photo of a make to a cover image?
Someone posted a way better photo than the original one on my design. Is there a way to easily promote their photo to cover and my own down to just a make?

I would just ask the maker for permission to use it, download the picture and upload it in the gallery, then promote this picture as cover.

I think you have to download the image, then reupload it. As a courtesy I would acknowledge the source in the object description. If it was me I would also ask the owner of the photo for permission, which I have done in the past.

I understand. It should really be a feature of the platform though, imo.
Having an attractive photo will make a model more likely to get downloaded or used. The platform should afford proper credit/veto power to the user who actually took the photo. There could also be some prusa points awarded to users who are talented with photography.
