Is there a tutorial for using the USB port on the Prusa to get diagnostic info

I have searched the forums and can't find anything that talks about using the USB port on the Prusa with a terminal to receive diagnostic into. I did see one post that said diagnostic info was sent out the USB during calibration but I can't find any thing that really describes how to do it. I am having problems with my calibration and would really like to get some good diagnostics information to help me fix it. I have an original Prusa Mk2 that I have upgrade to a MK2S and then a MK2.5 and then a Mk2.5S with the MMU. I also used leftover and purchased parts and built up a second Prusa MK 2 with a steel frame. They have both been working great until recently. Now I can't get the "homebuilt" Prusa to calibrate. Auto Home puts the sensor right in the round circle on the built plate but then it goes through 3 iterations on the XYZ cal and fails with "XYZ fails check manual" I can't see anything wrong and it was working. The only change I made was to replace a linear bearing.

I would really like to see the diagnostic information that is spit out to the USB port during cal. Can anyone help?

connect to the usb with pronterface or any serial terminal program, you will see what the printer is sending - if you need more info you can rebuild the firmware and enable more debug options in the configuration .h file

Thanks David. I tried Pronterface but it doesn't spit out anything of any use, just the iteration number and a string of busy processing comments. I haven't done any programming in a while but I guess I will have to look into enabling the debug options in the config file.
