Is the prusa Amazon store front official?
I was looking for filament on Amazon today and came across prusament and what looks like an official prusa storefront.
As far as I can tell most most of the printers and filament is shipped and sold by Amazon which leads me to believe it is official. Can someone confirm this. If there is a blog post I am not seeing let me know.
RE: Is the prusa Amazon store front official?
As you said, the seller will be Amazon -- which is probably a good thing: You will be dealing with a local legal entity, and they either deliver from stock or should handle the international shipping and import process such that it feels like a local delivery. Any warranty claims against the seller, and the 30-day return option, would be between you and Amazon, not Prusa. I think you can trust them to sell original Prusa products.
You will have to make the call whether the prices work for you. The sticker price of e.g. a Core One+ kit is significantly higher than at Prusa, $1299 vs. $999. Prusa states the price already includes import duties, so only shipping cost should come on top, which can't account for a $300 difference. So it seems to be a trade-off between paying a bit more at Amazon or dealing with the international transaction when buying from Prusa directly.

Just wanted to confirm before I commented, but that is our amazon store page. It's legit.

It might be a good idea to make a blog post just like when you announced your partnership with printed solid for a US retailer. Just knowing that Amazon has of 3rd party sellers that aren't very reputable it would be nice to get the word out that there is another storefront that is US/International.
I was very excited when the announcement for printed solid was made but when I started seeing prusament there it was overpriced or out of stock.
Now that I know that there is another place to buy your filament I can buy it there. I can't justify buying in bulk or paying $18+ shipping on a roll of prusament.
Prusament is my preferred filament so I use it on my parts that need to look good and use others for my test prints.

PrintedSolid is a strange place. Yes, most of the Prusament is either out-of-stock or priced more than buying direct from Prusa. That includes the free shipping with orders over $50. That is, it's still cheaper for me to buy from the Czech republic and have it shipped internationally via FedEx. And ironically it's faster as well.
