Installing Prusa3D on an AI Computer: Process & Product Recommendations. Any Advice?
Hi all,
I’m in the process of setting up PrusaSlicer (version 2.5.0) on my AI-powered computer, and I’m looking for advice on the installation process. AI computers are great for handling intensive tasks, and I’m hoping that will translate into smoother and faster 3D printing workflows. Has anyone here installed PrusaSlicer on an AI machine before? If so, are there any specific configurations or settings I should be aware of to optimize performance?
Additionally, I’m thinking of upgrading my 3D printer. The Prusa i3 MK3S+ seems like an excellent option for high-precision and reliable 3D printing, but I’m open to other Prusa3D products that might work even better with AI-enhanced systems. For example, the Prusa Mini+ or the Prusa SL1S Speed are also on my radar for their compact size and speed, respectively. I’m looking for something that can handle detailed prints and larger projects effectively.
If anyone has experience using these Prusa3D products with AI computer or advice on optimizing the software for AI-driven systems, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Not sure if this article is just clickbait or serious. Nothing unique about "AI computers" but the most recent CPUS, GPUs, and NPUs, plus the stupid copilot+ button. Prusaslicer (and most CAD software) doesn't make use of NPUs, so nothing to gain here.
