Infill - Why "grid" and not "rectilinear" by default in Prusa Slicer despite disadvantages of "grid"?

Hi All,
I am new to Prusa (ordered a MK4S two weeks ago) and until the device is delivered I'm reading as much as possible.
I did see that all MK4S profiles (latest Prusa Slicer version and profile versions) have the "grid" pattern set up for infill and not "rectilinear".

But reading through Prusa documentation it looks like "rectilinear" only has advantages over "grid":
"... This way, it saves filament and doesn’t accumulate material at crossings (unlike grid). It’s one of the fastest printed infills. Compared to the Grid pattern, Rectilinear has double the support for top layers using the same amount of material. ..."

Is there any reason why Prusa doesn't select rectilinear as default infill pattern over grid?
