RE: IGNORE ?

+1 for personal ignore list.

I think that would reduce unwanted escalations in the threads.

Not opposed to an ignore list, but you don't have to respond to the annoying ones.

RE: IGNORE ?

I think it is worth the addition.  I can see a couple I would ignore.

@bobstro

And usually I don’t. Anyway it’s more peaceful reading (for me) if I don’t even see some posts.

Isn't that the truth.  Silent ambivalence induced by not knowing what they said.

RE: IGNORE ?

Got to admit, the thread most likely behind this one started out annoying but has become increasingly fascinating. Like watching a trapeze artist without a net. Swinging on a high voltage line over a vat of lava. Many things so very wrong, but the suspense!

Sometimes it is simply best to not see something that can't be unseen.

Check this thread again. Even you got a nice reply to your posts.

I'm not too concerned about it, and it is... interesting at least!

RE: IGNORE ?

I think it‘s a personal preference. There is so much powder to make everything personal. I really need to hold back not to post anything. Watching someone banging his head against the wall just hurts. Would be much easier if I wouldn‘t see it.

Just do the best you can to be helpful.

The only person you need to satisfy is yourself.

And maybe Joan. Ignore the rest.

RE: IGNORE ?

I have found that blunt responses can be interpreted as angry or mean even if the intent is not there.  I think this is one of online communication perils.
