I took a configuration snapshot... then upgraded...
I'm on a Mac, I took a configuration snaphot, and then upgraded, now when I start the slicer, all of my configurations have gone... I appreciate that I should have exported a config bundle, and I did think it odd that it didn't prompt me for a location when it took a snapshot... but I am where I am... Where are my configurations? Is there a way to get them back? Luckily I have a bundle I took a few months back, but I really want some of the updates I've made recently.

Unfortunately, I don't know where on MAC the settings files would be. (Since MAC-OS is based on a Unix variant, I have a thought.) Are you able to see all files in your user folder that start with a period?
Look under ~/Library/Application Support/Slic3r. The ~/Library folder is hidden by default, so turn on the option to view hidden files in Finder. You should find your current profiles under the appropriate folder, or older versions in the snapshots folder.
Here's what mine looks like. Note that I had renamed Slic3r to Slic3rPE-beta.

If you can figure out where the configuration folder is on your MAC, there might be a Slic3r configuration folder next to the PrusaSlicer configuration folder that has your old configs. If you can find it, try copying the profile .ini files (the profile .ini files have the filename the same as the profile names on Windows) from the Slic3r config folder tree to similar locations in the PrusaSlicer config folder tree.
I know this is possible on Windows, but I don't know about MAC.

I did a merge folder structure when I did the install so if the filenames are the same then it was overwritten. Even on looking I cannot see any files that seem to have my configs in them. Nothing in my user folder either.

Are you able to see all files in your user folder that start with a period? This is a common Unix/Linux way of hiding configuration folders and files from the "dumb user". For example, on my Windows machine, Slic3r PE had it's user configuration files in a folder called Slic3r in the user configuration folder. With PrusaSlicer, the files are in a folder called PrusaSlicer. If you can show hidden files in your file manager (finder?), do you see folders called .slic3r, .prusaslicer, or .prusa in your user folder? If so, that might be a place to start looking for your snapshot and/or profile files.
