How to share course access with my sons?

I bought Core One L, and got the "3D Printing and Modeling for Beginners (CORE One L)"

My sons (10,13y.o.) are not very into 3D printing, but I know that the "certificate" at the end is somewhat motivating 🙂

How can I give them access to this course?

This question is highly related to: If I buy such printer for work, how can I give the course to more than one colleague ?

(there should be a way of sharing such a course.)

RE:

I understand that the licenses to the Prusa Academy courses are personal, single-user licenses. According to Prusa's support page, you can purchase a license and "assgn" it to someone else. But one license cannot be assigned to multiple users in parallel, and it seems that the assignment can only be made once, not changed again and again:  https://help.prusa3d.com/article/purchasing-and-managing-licenses-for-prusa-academy-courses_665149

Letting your sons use your Prusa account to access the course is probably the only way to go. Scout's honor that they will not order loads of filament or a new printer in your name! 😉

Or create a dedicated account for your sons, assign the course to that account right after purchasing it, and then use that account yourself if you also want to do the course. That would also let you print a certificate with the right names.

This is not a solution to watching the progress of the course, having own quiz and getting the carrot (diploma) in their name.

This is a missed opportunity to Prusa to catch more user's interest.

I would argue it is just the nature of their pricing model. The price you paid gets you a single-user license. Maybe they should consider offering volume discounts if you buy multiple licenses for the same course, or a multi-user license at a higher price.

Edit: Oh, you probably did not pay any price, since this was a freebie that was included with the printer? Then, of course, you can always wish you had received a bigger freebie. But I guess it is what it is.

Yes, this is not the "Advanced" course, which I do understand costs per-person.

This is the free/included "how to unpack and set up your printer" , how to start a print, how to print something from PrusaSlicer/Printables, and very basic introduction to 3D printing.

the way I see it, making such course available to my kids will only give 3D printing more attention, and introduce them to Prusa ecosystem earlier.

A suggestion is to just go to youtube. There are plenty of free videos there which maybe be as good or better (in some cases).
