How much does the box with an MK4 kit weigh?
I would have thought the package weight would have been somewhere in the DHL shipping info, but I can't find it. Just wondering how likely I am to strain my back picking it up 😀 (It is currently scheduled to arrive Friday).

I have 9 MK3/s+ to MK4/s upgrade kits stuck in US customs, and they are requesting the derivative weights on metals. Has anyone else needed to do this?

The Original Prusa MK4 kit box usually weighs around 16–18 kg (35–40 lbs).
It’s somewhat bulky, so while most people can lift it, it’s best to use proper lifting technique or move parts separately to avoid strain.

With the constantly changing US tariff policies, it’s a wonder anything gets shipped.
I’d contact Prusa for assistance. They’ve done an awesome job trying to keep things moving while absorbing huge costs themselves.
Let’s hope we get some sanity back in our government soon.

They haven't absorbed the tariffs, we the buyer have. They raised prices to account for the tariffs. As for sanity back in our government? Hopefully Nov 2026 will turn things around but then I'm not optimistic.
