how long for model edit and publish to appear on Printables.com

One of the things I really dislike about Thingiverse is the length of time it takes from editing a thing before that change is publicly displayed.  It can take several days before an edit is finally displayed.  One thing that's comforting is if you edit your thing again, your changes will be displayed to you - they're just not available to the public.

I just made a change to one of my models and published the change.  When I attempt to view the model I don't see any of the changes I made.  When I, again, edit the model, I also don't see my changes.  This is disconcerting.  It's like I didn't do anything.

This is one of the things that I most wanted to see Printables do over and above Thingiverse.  But apparently not.

How long, on average, should I expect to have to wait before I see my changes instantiated?

Thanks,

Ken

Lors like a caching issue. So it can be at server (printables.com), CDN (intermediate) or local (your browser) level. You will have to find at which level it's not updating. It's often at the browser level, so empty your caches.

RE:

Changes on Printables are instantaneous. If you don't see them, there's something with your cache settings.

even on Tv changes are instantaneous but i have to go into Chrome developer mode and do a clear cache and hard reload before they're detected. Not necessary — in my hands — for Printables.
