How do you store your filament?
How do you store your filament? How todo it properly? Currently I store my filament in vacuum bags with a bag of silica gel and put this in a air sealed box with another bag of silica gel. Is this overkill? Is there a better way? I also dry my filament before storing it for a few hours and depending on the filament before use / while using it.

I store my non-PLA filament in 5 gallon plastic buckets. I replaged the normal lids with Gamma Seal lids (air tight). I throw in a few packs of renewable dessicant. Each bucket holds 4-5 rolls, and the buckets stack nicely. Here's a link to Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Gamma2-4123-Gamma-Seal-Lid/dp/B0089QJQTS/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3JPGO5NUZ5SWY&keywords=bucket%2Blids%2B5%2Bgal%2Bscrew%2Bon%2Bgamma%2Bseal%2Bair%2Btight&qid=1682458896&sprefix=bucket%2Bair%2Btight%2Blids%2Caps%2C136&sr=8-1&th=1 , but I normally get mine a the Big Box Hardware Store. They're much cheaper there, but colors are limited.
RE: How do you store your filament?
I leave mine out and print out a dry box

I store my filament in 2 gallon zip-lock bags after squeezing all the air out. Also, I toss in some desiccant to keep the filament dry.
Seems to work fine, and the cost is great. I get the bags at Walmart.

In the closet on the shelf, dry it out in the air fryer if I haven't used it for a while.

I like to keep my filament in it's original packaging until I absolutely need it. A better solution would give more flexibility.
Opened PLA spools just stay out, I don't do anything special with this material.
And the ABS and ASA in a metalized resealable bags with some silica gel packets. Hopefully I won't have to dry the 3kg spool of the stuff that I'm currently using.
