Got some new heat block but fitting issue with some parts

i ordered some new heat block brand new so far everything mostly fit but the thermister is not going in i took the hex screw out but still noting?

do you have some cheap alternative not from prusa e-store that i can buy that will fit a MK3S, maby you have tried it and it woks for you ?

Or

can i sand the plastic coting down on the thermister to get it in there?
can i drill the hole bigger in the heat block?
can i heat and cool the heat block over and over gain to expand the hole?
are any of the above good ideas?

If you're in the US, you can get E3D and Prusa parts from PrintedSolid and Filastruder. This may save you on shipping. I generally wouldn't recommend "generic" parts. Some folks have used them successfully, but there is often some additional tuning or tweaking required. If you've spent all the money on the basic printer, might as well get the best performance possible.
