Gossamer filament caution - Eye irritation.
Just a word of caution. Be careful of very thin gossamer like filament strands when cleaning the nozzle, especially with translucent PETG filament. It can pull an invisible thread which is light enough to float on air currents.
When this gets in your eye it feels like someone has thrown sand in your eye and is very difficult to see and remove.
Don't rub your eye but wait for it to water a lot, then when you lift your eye lid, you may be able to see droplets of tears clinging to a thread between your eyelid and eye surface, you will need a magnifying mirror for this, carefully hook this thread with the edge of a clean tissue and hope you get it out first time.

I hate those fine threads and make a point of stuff all my scraps into a small container, including any stringy bits. I hit it with a heat gun before emptying to avoid having those strands come loose.

I think we need someone to invent a reverse heat gun, where the air is sucked in and heated as it passes inside, very much like a personal incinerator.
Heck its 2019, we should have had these along with flying cars and replicators and unlimited fusion energy by now!. 🙂

You guys ever notice the spider webs accumulating behind the extruder and up into the fans? Not only gossamer petg filaments do this... but many do. I am hoping they blow around and simply become dust bunnies like all the other spider webs in life.

At least the other spider webs tend to break down or get absorbed! Before I started watching out for them, the filament strands would float around a bit and I'd find them far away from the printer. I got worried about my dog ingesting some resulting in a nice hefty vet bill.

PLA has been studied, and ingestion is not an issue for mammals ... but I wouldn't want to be the lab rats they used.

It may not be toxic, but it can certainly cause an obstruction! Our vet cautioned us that she's had to work on bulldogs that have eaten sponges and Nerf toys. Getting those strings in your shirt is annoying too. Had a bad dream about it getting in my bed and drowning in it. Nasty stuff, and surprisingly strong.

If you had a dream about drowning in filament in your bed, I would be careful about the fumes of whatever your printing 😀
