good slicing software?

I don't own a Prusa printer yet and was wondering if Prusa slicer is all that good. I currently have a CR-10 using Cura with Octoprint. I think it is a good setup (all except the printer) and plan to keep using it alongside my Prusa. I would also like to use my Prusa in Cura just for simplicity, besides being built for Prusa slicer is there any reason I shouldn't use a Prusa with Cura.

No fantastic reason, other than the knowledge set for Cura with a Prusa Printer is smaller here,

and If you get into multi material prints Cura may not be the best choice!

If the printer is supported in Cura meaning if it has good profiles, by all means use what you find easier.

The number one advantage PrusaSlicer (and Slic3r) have over Cura IMO is support for the Maximum volumetric speed (MVS) setting. This allows you to set a maximum flow rate based on your currently mounted nozzle and filament and let the slicer ensure you never exceed a combination of speed, layer height and extrusion width settings that will cause overruns. You don't have to calculate maximum speeds for every combination. This greatly simplifies using other nozzles and filaments. I find it frustrating to have to play with individual speed settings with other slicers.
