Glow in the dark filament

Thought I'd have a play but not available on usual source Prusa. I live in Ireland and brexit has made sourcing from UK problematic but an Irish supplier has filament described as fluorescent green 1.75mm 1kg (REAL brand). Is florescent the same as glow in the dark? Any hints on printing glow in the dark filaments?

No, fluorescent is not the same as glow in the dark.

GITD filament is highly abrasive.  If using a brass nozzle be prepared to change it after printing even only a little of it.

Regrettably no, but you can have a lot of fun illuminating flourescents with 'dark light' UV LEDs.

Glow in the dark filaments are abrasive, not as bad as cf or metal fill but they do wear brass nozzles.  For occasional use I keep old nozzles that I refit for gitd use, I get another spool of filament through them before they are completely trashed.  For regular printing a toughened nozzle is necessary.

Cheerio,
