Future toolhead for Prusa XL?
Would this be a great toolhead for Prusa XL?

that wouldnt really make a lot of sense outside of very special applications.
maybe something that could place magnets but even that would already be very specialized.
Pick and place has been on several want-lists since the first announcement - but I'd guess that everyone wants a different pick and place head...

yep and thats ultimately why i dont see this one being done by prusa.
they could how ever do something like a blank tool head that just has the tool changing hardware and a bunch of outputs on the dwarve board.
that way anyone could design their own tool head but the main question would then be how its going to be controlled.
they will probably need to add something like a custom tool head option to prusa slicer so you can generate gcode that gets executed after the custom tool is picked up.
but even that is gonna be very complex because you would also need to program any movements by hand or the slicer needs some kind of "move here" feature where you define the position somehow.
