Fully enclosed IDEX is the machine for now.

Upon purchasing the MMU3, I quickly began aware of its limitations with regard of mixing materials for supports. It's not a multi-material device , rather a multi-color device.  I considered the XL, and began to wonder "why?, when I all want is to print complex parts with soluble supports.  With further consideration and current market observation I've concluded core-xy IDEX machines in fully enclosed cabinets are becoming the new base-line for next generation machine for the average non-corporate user.  True multi-material machines with fast print speeds and material switching, without time wasting toolhead changes and heater loss. The bed slinger is sucumming before the accuracy of core XY.

Prusa came into being with the success of the  MK series of printers. I don't think anyone gives a shit about the Prusa Pro, SL1S, or the automated print farm.  Joseph needs to put his pipe dreams on hold for a while and get back to basics. When the front-page of your website features high priced spare part bundles as new products it looks pathetic and nothing more than a money grab.  Release a machine that makes more than just multi-colored fruit bowls and key chains. . .  go for the next level . . . because your competitors are.

HEY everyone !  . . . what do want?  The following is what I want.

IDEX, CORE XY, RIGID & HEATED ENCLOSED CABINET WITH REMOVABLE SIDES WITH PRINT SPOOLS NOT MOUNTED ON THE BACK, PROFESSIONAL AIR FILTRATION, HEATED SELF LEVING BUILD PLATE, SENSOR INPUT SHAPING, ACCURATE AUTO PRINT HEAD CALIBRATION, DIRICT DRIVE EXTRUSION, NON PROPRIETARY NOZZLES, QUICK SWAP PRINT HEADS  >  >  > I'm holding $3000 in my hand >  > > point me in the right direction.
