How can I stop being automatically subscribed to every post I reply, create, or even click on? The amount of emails I get is overwhelming and unnecessary.

There is no automatic way. You have to unsubscribe from them after posting.

or remember to always uncheck the "Subscribe to this topic" checkbox before hitting Add Reply.
