Forum Performance Issues – Is Anyone Else Experiencing Slowness?
Hello everyone!
I’ve noticed that, for the past few months, the forum seems to be running slower than usual. Navigating between sections feels quite sluggish, and I often encounter errors when searching for topics.
I was wondering if the Prusa Team is aware of this issue? I really appreciate the forum and the community here, and I believe improving the performance would enhance the experience for everyone. I only want to help by bringing this up, as I’d love to see the forum thrive!

This forum never has been a speed demon, but the last days it's way worse. Even a comatose snail is faster.
Nothing new, sadly. I guess we're so used to it that almost nobody cares anymore. least of all Prusa's staff. I'm rather pessimistic not only about this matter but about the future of Prusa as well. The overall picture I see is not nice at all.

I can understand your frustration, especially with how slow the forum has been lately. That said, I’m not quite as pessimistic about Prusa’s overall future. I think the brand is still doing fairly well on other fronts, even though there’s definitely more competition out there now.
As for the forum, the situation is definitely not ideal. They might be short on hands to maintain this part of the platform, but I hope it’s something that can be improved soon, since a healthy forum is key for the community.

Yeah its being running veeeery slow since at least Friday for me.

Been very slow for me also. Almost like it is not going to connect, then it does.

I had a could not connect to database error earlier (several hours ago) instead of the slow down. Since it came back to being available though it does seem to have speeded up somewhat. I just assumed someone had given it a kick 🙂

I’m also having a much better experience now. Hopefully, it continues to perform like this! 😊
