Filament PM opening warehouse in US
I was browsing the Filament PM website today and noticed an announcement that they are opening a warehouse to stock their filament in the US (I haven't been able to figure out where in the US yet). They are the makers of the non-Prusa manufactured Prusa PLA (and possibly other filaments in Prusa's store) and is the same as the spool of silver that comes with the printers.
The price for the PLA filament seems to be $21USD for a 1 kilo spool. I haven't placed an order yet so I don't know what the shipping will look like, but that will probably vary depending on where it is being shipped to. Hmm... their shipping estimator defaults to Virginia, zip code 24413 which appears to be Blue Grass, VA. That's really out in the middle of nowhere, so either they got good real estate prices out there, or it is just a leftover test location from setting up the store website.
Well, enough of my poking around the site. For those of us on the American continent, we should get better shipping prices than international shipping over the ocean (ground is now an option) for Filament PM plastic. The website is here: https://shop.filamentpm.com/home.html
(BTW, I have no business relationship with Filament PM, not even a previous direct customer yet. I might order some other filaments soon, but I won't need any of the silver and time soon since I bought a couple of Greybeard's surplus spools a month ago.)

I just checked and they do have an orange PETG. I haven't tried to colormatch it to Prusament orange PETG, all I did was see if an orange is listed on their web page. Though I suspect they may have been Prusa's original supplier of PETG before Prusament started, so it might be just what you are looking for.

I believe the Prusa orange is the "orange 2018" orange, not the regular orange.

Took me a bit to realize what you meant. Then I went to their main Czech site and found the "orange 2018" color. 🧐 Yeah, I don't see it at the US Warehouse, but there is a contact form if you want to request that they carry that color.
