Filament on shop availability complain
Hello folks,
Prusa developping 3D printer is good and I'm very satisfayed, but not having a good availability of filament... it's frustrating ! 🙁
Despite I've made a wishlist and subscribe to the availability notification by mail, I still wait for example PETG black and Prusa orange 1kg 1.75mm filament since 2-3 weeks to make an order.
I guess that for these ones, Prusa team have a lot of stock because they use them for MK3 production...
It would be great if Prusa team can make a small effort to speed up the reapprovisionnememt of the stock.
What is your thinking ? Are you in the same situation ?

Yes me too mitou.
I receive an e-mail that "white PLA filament 1Kg is now available" with a delay : i am not the nose on the screen of my PC ! and unfortunately all the stock is melt like snow at the sun (passé à la trappe) ouinh !
He must be waiting a bigger stock and so people become happy mitou 😉

Talking to Prusa support on this issue I was advised that they are looking at suppling there own filament and that there current supplier knows this, they advised that this issue should be resolved in the next two to three months, I am now looking for another local supplier.
Ah well lets hope it all turns out good in the long run.

also had some filamanets on my whishlist.
Received an email that it was in stock during the day, .. but when, in the evening I went to the shop-site .. it was out of stock again ... 🙁
Also when contacting Prusa-chat and talking about filaments, it seemed they just had received a new batch .. but the site was not updated yet. I managed to order some in the end (i just looooove the prusa-orange 🙂 )

I've received the email notification too this afternoon (approx at 4pm)... I've jumped on my computer and order Orange prusa PETG in the way! Lucky for me, my order was sucessfull. I dont know much they receive of them, but yes the stock melt like snow in the sun 😐

My experience so far with ordering filament (or spare parts) from Prusa has been very entirely frustrating and annoying. When I ordered my MK 2.5 upgrade kit, it took almost 6 months from the date of ordering to actually receiving anything. More recently, I ordered some filament and a few spare parts more than two weeks ago and they still haven't been dispatched. Furthermore, they shouldn't be taking money from my account until the goods have been picked and ready to go. It's very poor business practice.
