File > Import > Import Config and then browse to your gcode will bring in your settings from that gcode file.

The very end of my gcode files are comments showing the various settings. I don't recall doing anything special to make that happen, I think PrusaSlicer just does it by default. Do you have those?
RE:
looks interessting. 175000 lines of code and at the end the informations are 🤡

It's 2024 now, and I just wanted you to know Sylvia, that you are my hero too.
I just got back in to 3d printing after taking a break for like 5 years. Trying out Prusaslicer out, spent the last 3 days calibrating the settings, cuz I suck. And just when I got everything (almost) perfect, I decided to click on "add/remove filament" and I just ERASED everything I had. I didn't know it was gonna do that, prob had a warning pop up, but it's almost 3 AM. I didn't read it. 🙁

For some reason, PrusaSlicer is not able to read the gcodes from a pendrive. I had to copy them from my pendrive to my mac HDD and then I was able to import them as described. Not sure why, but this is what happen.
