Etiquette question RE designs that don't use a printer

I'm in the process of importing my models from Thingiverse. I had posted this cheap, fast folding boat design over there, however I did not print any of the components. Should I import that, or only stick to things that come off a printer?

Thanks!

As there is nothing printable then, as you suspected, printables doesn't seem appropriate.  You might try posting on instructables.com

It's a fun project 'though only suited to the swimming pool or a shallow pond - I fancy it would be unmanageable in a sea.

Cheerio,

I think that's better than just a toy.  If one were out camping or hiking, and needed to cross a lake or river with some gear, and the body of water wasn't too large or rough, that could be a pretty handy thing.  It would be easily stashed/hidden for the return trip, and therefore less likely to go missing than a "real" boat.  Also light enough to strap it on a pack and continue to carry it.  You'd have to be willing to accept some level of risk, and carry a PFD (one of the self-inflating units with a CO2 cartridge would be ideal), but it should work.

Edited to add; there's elements of that which should be printable, if you took the time to model them for it.
