ERRF 2019 new products

What new products have you send besides the Prusa Mini?

In a video I saw PET Gloop?  Any thing else?

I will watch the video again tomorrow and post more.  I am interested in what you saw in person and online.

PET Gloop: https://www.3dgloop.com/shop/pet

The Gloop groop had a spray-on surface smoother (actually surface filler) that they were demoing. It isn't available yet, they plan on Kickstartering it late this year or early next year. Proto-Pasta had a Moai model that had the spray applied and at arm's length appeared almost glass smooth. I asked a few questions at the Gloop table, and it should adhere to most plastics, and most paints should adhere to it. There is a little loss of detail (the guy I spoke with didn't think it would work well on D&D type miniatures) and layer lines aren't totally eradicated. But as it is applied like spray-paint, it looks like it might be an excellent general purpose post-processing material. It is polymer based so it is flexible (they had samples of it sprayed onto aluminum foil, and except for the really hard creases it stayed stuck to the foil). Unfortunately, I neglected to take any pictures of models with it applied, nor the can of stuff they had there.

(I did pick up a couple small tubes of the PLA Gloop for small assemblies and repairs.)

Actually, there was already a Kickstarter campaign, but it failed.

I thought it felt familiar. Maybe it is being planned for a re-launch on Kickstarter? They did say that they were still tweaking the formula.

I just watched the video for Prusa’s announcement at ERRF.  PrusaSlicer will be available for other printers and the XL will be available by 1st quarter of next year.

Mini bot Ultra 3D printer:

That thing is adorable. The last thing I need, especially if I lapse and order a Mini, but it's a fun looking little gizmo.
