Hi,
the availability of the textured PEI sheets was an internal error and I'm sorry for the confusion. We are currently shipping these sheets to those who ordered the printers in the past with this option, as soon as we finish this part, we will make the sheets available as a spare part. I hope it will be within weeks.

Why are old orders (fall/winter 2017) not being prioritized for textured sheets? I placed my order during this time expecting a textured sheet only to find out it was shipping with a smooth sheet by reading these forums. Are vouchers and free shipping at least still going to be given out?

old orders got a smooth PEI + voucher for the textured. We are sending them the textured sheets now and as soon as we finish, the sheets will be available as a spare part.

Old orders have not got a voucher for the textured. I ordered Mk3 within 24 hours of release back in Sept 2017. I have no voucher or textured sheet or the faintest idea when I might see this.

What about people, like me who ordered the MK2.5 upgrade and didn't have the choice to wait for the powder coated pei sheet. Do we get a voucher?

Only Prusa can answer, of course. I'd be surprised if you get a discount on an item that is simply not available for any reason at the time of order. Whether the reason behind it is production delays or simply being sold out, it's not available at that moment in time. You did get everything you actually ordered, right?

Actually, no I did not get everything I ordered. The product description of the kit I ordered stated it included the Double-sided Textured PEI Powder-coated Spring Steel Sheet. I did not get that.

I don't understand why you are confused. I ordered the kit expecting to get the powder coated pei sheet. I was not given a choice to wait for it or take the standard pei like they did for the MK3. They just shipped the standard pei sheet with my MK2.5 kit.

I read your prior post as "was not offered the PEI textured sheet as an option so ordered with the sticker". I'm in the same boat. Ordered the Mk3 with textured sheet & MMU. Got a notification that textured wouldn't be available (don't recall the details) and that they'd ship with the sticker sheets. I thought they offered an option to contact them to cancel the order, but I don't recall with certainty. Did get notified to let support know if I wanted the printer without MMU, so opted for that.

At this point, I'm assuming I'll get a voucher when the textured sheets become available, just like I got vouchers for the MMUv2 price drop and answering the survey. They're not available yet, so I'm not expecting a voucher until they are. TBH, at this point, it's not a big deal to me. I'm glad I got my printer 4 months ago and have been working with it since. Other than the interesting texture, there's nothing I haven't been able to do with the existing flex sheets. I am relieved to be able to order spares of those at least.

I did cringe a bit when I saw the pics from the guy that managed to gouge his textured sheet, so my enthusiasm for permanent surfaces is a bit muted now. If I get a voucher with free shipping, cool beans. If not, life moves on. I'm torn as to whether I care enough to order one at full price and pay shipping. In any case, they're not available yet, so I have to wait and see what happens. I expect a lot of us are in the same boat.
