Drying Prusament PETG

Am I reading the information in the Knowledge Base correctly. It appears that Prusament PETG cannot be dried at 55C with an unmodified stock spool. Above 45C the spool must be reinforced with user-provided screws. Is that correct?

Best Answer by FoxRun3D:

I've never ever reinforced the spool. Drying at 55 has not been an issue.

Just dry at 45 -- it only takes a little longer.

For all filaments I've dried, overnight in the Ninja Cooker, set on dehydrate at 120F/49C works just fine.  Nothing melts.
