Download Speeds

LOVE the product, HATE the site speed!

Please please please consider getting some more bandwidth for your web servers.  Download speeds are dismal and the web site often takes a while to load (which is frustrating when looking for information).

This screenshot is fairly typical of downloads from Prusa3D.  I download from AWS, Microsoft, or Steam at around 90 MB/s (which is closing in on 400 TIMES faster than Prusa3D).

Have you applied a ping lubricant?

Actually, that was among the first things that I checked; the synthetic IGMP lubricator is topped right off and the nozzle is functioning correctly.  Further investigation revealed that the capacitors are fully fluxed.  I am currently operating my PingCo cable-straightener, taking out all of the corners to aid the flow.

RE: Download Speeds

Hi having the same issues here, might I suggest a torrent option for download if bandwidth is an issue (something like what raspberry pi does?).

constantly plagued with timeouts download restarts. Basically given up. going to have to look at other slicer options so I can use my newly built kit.

You can download PrusaSlicer from their GitHub page.

I REALLY hope you all are joking.  Flux Capacitor and all.  LOL  D/L Speeds aren't too bad but I have commercial Internet AKA Work from home.

50 Seconds for the firmware and Prusa Slicer is quite good.  Wouldn't you say?

RE: Download Speeds

downloaded a few things yesterday, all pretty quick except for the prusa driver and software packs. runs about 2kb/s times out, carries on a bit.

I'll try the github, thanks for the suggestion.

Could be a geolocation thing I guess....  I'm on a gigabit connection in Canada and it's painful.  Super happy to know about the GitHub option though since I can pull from there at around 98 MB/s.
