Does anyone recycle their 3d printing scraps? Has anyone attempted to use a Recyclebot?
Two part question. I phoned the municipal trash collector and they do not want 3d print scraps to be included in the recycle containers.
I googled recycling 3d scraps, and there are some places that will accept them, but you need to sort by type, box them up, and, of course, pay to have them shipped.
Does anyone recycle their scraps? If so, how and where? Each week I throw out close to a full filament box of various scraps, worms, priming strips, skirts, brims, rafts, supports and test or defective prints.
I'm also intrigued by the Recyclebot, but it looks like a lot of work for not that much usable filament, plus the stories I've seen tell of inconsistent and poor quality filament.
Is anyone using a Recyclebot? Anyone having any luck with one?
