Category clarification: Toys&Games - Board Games / RPG Miniatures

The Names and descriptions of the two sub-categories of Toys&Games, "Board Games" and "RPG Miniatures" are a bit misleading.
I guess the intention was to have a category for new board game and special accessories, inserts and other improvements for existing board games, and another category for miniatures for table top games, Pen&Paper and other RPG games.
Of course, the line which parts these two topics is highly debateable, but at the moment there is a huge mess and makes these categories nearly unusable.
I propose following clarification:
Short Name: Board Games
Long Name: 3D printed Board Games and Accessories
Despcription: Open a game with the Queen's Gambit, but print a chess set first. Have a look at tokens, accessories and pieces for board games.

Short Name: Miniatures
Long Name: 3D Printed Miniatures
Description: Let your tabletop battle or role play adventure come to life with rangers and wizards, ghouls and skeletons, werewolves and dragons, starships and space rangers! Miniatures for all kinds of scenarios.

At the moment, there are many generic miniatures in the board game category. Is there a way to move those to the "RPG Figures" category?

I'll answer your question, but first let me explain why I believe this topic contains some dissonance. I'd like to learn more about how you play the Queen's Gambit, since you describe it as a very tempo-oriented opening, which isn't the first thing that springs to mind when you think of descriptions of the Queen's Gambit, though there are certain true gambit lines that are more tempo-oriented. The QGA (Accepted), QGD (Declined), Slav, and Semi-Slav are the four primary broad types of defense to the QG, in my opinion. How do you counter each of these? Could you give some example lines (out to, say, turn 7)? Also, do you have any prepared responses to the Indian defenses (beginning with the first one)?

I was wondering about the same thing. The Board Games section seems  like a mix of both Board Games and RGP Miniatures. If that section is mixed that way, what's the point of a separate RPG Miniatures section? I can see how these two things have some overlap and also that the miniatures are largely of very high quality but it is a pity there is no good way of looking just at the proper board games entries if you are looking for that, rather than RPG Miniatures.

I understand the split. General board games for organizers, accessories and non-mini game upgrades. Minis for figures specifically. The "RPG" label is probably a bit misleading though that would be a lot of the models, but then you have tabletop mini wargames (Warhammer, Bolt Action, etc) that I would expect to find there as well. If people have mis-classified their models not much we can do about that.

Yeah, it makes sense to have separate categories for general board games and accessories, as well as miniatures specifically for figures. The distinction allows organizers and enthusiasts to easily find what they're looking for. I agree that the "RPG" label might be a bit misleading since it mainly refers to models, but I can see how tabletop mini wargames like Warhammer and Bolt Action would fit into that category too. If some people have misclassified their models, there's not much we can do about it. Overall, having clear categories helps in navigating and finding the right games and accessories.
