Black PLA Prusament - Shiny Flecks?

First let me say that Prusament PLA does live up to it's billing. I've just started using it (black) and the improvement in print quality over the various other filaments I've used is definitely noticeable. In fact I've just ordered a spool of white (even at almost twice the cost due to shipping).

But one thing I did not expect is the shiny silvery flecks in my prints. That's something I would rather not have in black prints. Looking back at the sample prints on the product page, I now see the flecks there too.

Does anyone know what they are, why they're there, and if a truly black Prusament will be coming?

Thanks.

the only black pla prusament is the galaxy black, which isn't solid black, i have some filimentium galaxy black and it seem the same. looks like the black petg would print a solid color.

I believe it was Fillamentum that started the "sparkly" rage last year with their Galaxy Grey which had the shiny bits mixed in. It was all the hotness for its ability to hide layer lines and generally look spectacular without requiring a hardened nozzle and just regular PLA settings. Several manufacturers have followed suit, and Prusament is one of them. There are plain, shiny PLAs galore, and even matte variants from other manufacturers. I have no idea whether Prusa plans to expand the Prusament line to include more mundane colors. Given how much competition there already is, I would think not.

I guess I didn't realize, does "Galaxy" generally mean that the filament will be sparkly?
