Basic Silver PLA
Hello, I have been practicing with many different materials and settings with the MK3s since receiving it. The printer came with a 1kg spool of PRUSA Basic Silver PLA. I have printed tools, bottle caps, jar covers, and single print jointed objects. I am now printing spool dry boxes with it. I would like to order more, but I cannot find it in the PRUSA store. The closest I find is called Galaxy silver. Anyone know where to find this? I have other PLA's I can print with, but they are more cost. I just need a basic PLA, no glitter or bling. I did order black PLA to start working with as well.
RE: Basic Silver PLA
Galaxy Silver is lighter than the one that came with it.
I don't think it's Pearl Mouse either. Perhaps email the support team.
RE: Basic Silver PLA
I don't believe that the roll that ships with the printer is prusament, have a look at the other PLA on the site.
RE: Basic Silver PLA
A good second-source of the silver-gray filament that comes with the machines is the FilamentPM online store either in the States or Europe.
It's not branded Prusa in the US, but I can tell it's the same stuff, and it says (or said when I last ordered it) 'from the Czech Republic' which confirms the origin.

@jsw
I can confirm that Prusa resell FilamentPM filament, I understand that they also used it for manufacture before setting up their own filament production facility. The only filament they make in house is Prusament.
RE: Basic Silver PLA
Here is the box. So yeah, not Prusa, but Prusa sells filament from others in their eShop. Would be nice if they also sold the filament they ship with the MK3s.
Will look at the sources others have recommended. Still buying some PRUSA filament as I like the quality of the PETG and PLA they produce.
