Awaiting Moderation
I'm a new user, since yesterday. I've only posted on one topic other than this one, but I notice that some of my posts have a status of awaiting moderation. Does this mean that there is something in the post that flagged it for moderation? I can't make sense of it. I considered that it may because I am a new user, but then all of my posts would be flagged, not just some. I tried to find some information about this, but couldn't, in fact, I don't see any forum FAQ or categories anywhere.

That is normal for new users - I think a moderator has a look on your posts, then they can be read in the forum. After 5 or 10 posts that is done and your posts are out without delay.

As @clemens-m notes, it's a regular precaution for new accounts. If they don't do this, spammer bots flood the forum with drive-by posts. Just post normally and you'll gain "trusted" status quickly.

I find this odd too. I’ve looked in all locations I would expect to see such information and I can’t find it either. I hope someone (perhaps the moderator who reviews this post) might be able to let us know here it is.

your first five posts are flagged for Moderation as an aide to managing Spam on the forum,
this is a Peer to Peer Forum so we moderators are also forum users like yourself.
the Administrators are Prusa staff, but they rarely get directly involved in forum moderation.
You may also have noticed that you can't make private messages at the moment, that will also change when you achieve 5 approved posts

we try to keep this forum a 'Light touch' space
As such we hope that members will self moderate in most cases... and in the main, they do... 😀
as a user forum, we do not welcome advertisers blatantly advertising
however users are able to advise where they have found STL's Products, Services and good information. as long as it does not become a problem for other members.
