Automatic Bed Harvesting
Awhile back, maybe a year ago, i remember seeing a video of a robot harvesting the bed from a prusa machine, and placing it on another.
i believe it was Prusa that designed this.
does anyone else remember this? have a link to it? i can no longer find it.
im curious as to what happened with this project.

I've also seen a different variant somewhere with a "scraper" that would pop parts off the bed and into a chute or bin next to the printer.

ive seen that video, its from Voodoo manufacturing, I hope to set up something like that on my own some day 😀
I've also seen various scrapers.. or pushers that use the extruder assembly to push the print off.
to describe in detail the video i was looking for.
i believe it was a prototype made by prusa themselves
it moved back and forth in front of 4 MK3's
it used some sort of "wedge" to separate the spring steel print surface from the magnetic heat bed
it pushed the wedge between the print surface and the heat bed, lifted up the print surface with the print still attached.. and then pulled them out
it was not a robotic arm
if ya come across this, lemme know 🙂
or any other automatic harvesting id love to see (but i've seen most of them :P)

Some years ago I saw some video of a machine that was printing on an endless belt; when the print was finished the print belt would move forward over the end roller and the print would drop into a bin as it was peeled over the small diameter of the roller, all the while the next item was printing... I assume the critical part was the surface of the belt.

From their website (emphasis mine):

So, don't expect to see anything like this on a Prusa printer... But I'm sure BlackBelt would be happy to sell you one of theirs.
