Auto Subscriptions
I'm subscribed to every thread I post on automatically, unless I remember to untick the subscribe button when I post. I don't want to subscribe to every thread!
Can it be set to not-subscribed as default, or is there a setting in my profile that I'm missing that changes this??

In addition, I cant seem to edit any of my posts either - even after only just posting it. So if I spot a typo etc, pressing the edit button just presents me with an empty window

I have same issue for Safari and Firefox on macOS.. It is a bug in the forum software as I used to be able to do it.

So I couldn't edit previous post .. I don't know of any way to *NOT* subscribe to the post you've just posted.. you need to hit the UNSUBSCRIBE button at very top or bottom of thread list. If you get an email reply, there is an UNSUBSCRIBE button there also.

Yeh same - deffo used to work.
Ive tried Safari on MacOS as well as Edge on Windows. Same on both.
I have same issue for Safari and Firefox on macOS.. It is a bug in the forum software as I used to be able to do it.

There are boxes for subscribe to all new topics and posts and subscribe to all new topics on your subscription tab. I don't think they are working correctly, but I have both unchecked and it reduced the message traffic a lot.

On MacOS (can't speak for Windows) I've had a problem on this forum with Google Chrome. Initially OK, the none of the buttons: Reply, Quote etc were working and the WYSIWYG editor was not working (only basic text). The remedy was to clear out the browser cache which helped for a while and now it's back. I've resorted to using Safari instead.

Edit button hasn't worked for ages - irrespective of OS or browser......
It is working fine in this specific Edge build ... lol. Still getting broken languages tho.

Same issue with editing using the above version of Edge. The editor window just comes up blank and slightly greyed out.
I don't think its a browser issue - its a problem with the forum software that the admins either don't want to, or don't know how to resolve. It's been going on for months now.
Seriously, I like this forum. It has a great community and some great content. But the platform sucks.
