Alignment compensator for linear bearings (Expired Patent) [for Y-axis]

I found this expired patent about an "Alignment compensator for linear bearings"

Looking at the picture (more pictures are in the patent) it looks a lot like the Y axis, and incidentally Linear Bearing Alignment is one of the most critical aspects of MK* assembly

Could we adopt a similar system on our MK* ?

Given the almost infinite adjustability of the Prusa frame (its made almost entirely from threaded rod) I think it’s better to just set it up right in the first place. It’s really not hard to do.

In principle I would agree with you, but a lot of people faced some kind of alignment problems, and this system could overcome most of these problems...

After all, it's also possible to manually level the bed, or to use gluestick on glass instead of the PEI surface, but it's more convenient to have an automatic system
