Admin question

Why does everything i post have to await moderation?

Best Answer by JoanTabb:

Many posts go directly to the forum,
the only ones that are Moderated, are the first five posts for a new user.

the reason there is a delay, is because this forum is largely monitored by forum users who volunteer for the task.

I am one of those volunteers,

We have no fixed attendance pattern, as we are not paid for the work that we do.

if we happen to be on line, posts can be approved in seconds,
If, like today, I went to the opticians, there was a delay before approval.

this post was delayed 43 minutes. including time to respond to the message.

From what I can see, you have made 4 posts,
so your next post, should be the last one needing moderating,

It is unfortunate that there are so many spammers, that the anti spam activity disadvantages legitimate forum users.

Some Spam still gets through, but we catch most of it. before it disadvantages the users

regards Joan

RE: Admin question

Well that is where I am confused. I joined here over a year ago when I bought my first printer so I don’t know what happened to all my posts.

I couldn't say what happened, but your user profile says you joined today.

RE: Admin question

Well I don’t understand because I just logged in and didn’t create a new account or anything. I just haven’t logged in for quite a few months.

RE: Admin question

That is a concern...   This is the first time I have heard of posts disappearing...
do you have any idea how many posts have gone missing?

I can escalate this to the Prusa Support team

RE: Admin question

I don’t really know. Like I said I got my first mk3s+ back in January 2021 so I know I have posted some in the forum since then. And like I said when I posted here yesterday I had to log in and I still used my initial username and password.
