A bit disappointed.

I'm a little bit disappointed with the customer service this evening.

After waiting a long while for the brexit situation to clear (not your fault) i've finally been able to order some lubricant, a steel sheet and some filament to the uk.

On arrival i've found that due to the lubricant being taped inside the steel sheet box ive ended up with a dented sheet.

Customer Live Chat have tried to fob me off with only using one side and saying that it will clear its self up after a few prints.

We all know this isn't the case, why even suggest it? After much pushing ive managed to get them to agree to replacing the sheet however i'm now having to ship the old one back so they can inspect it before they ship another meaning more waiting time.

I'm really disappointed that the OP tried so hard to push me to keep the sheet when its arrived damaged, this isnt the Prusa service i know!

RE: A bit disappointed.

Are you sure it won't, in fact, work its way out with heat? I've had occasional dents in the PEI clear up after keeping it on the underside for several prints. From the pic, it looks like the PEI was simply dented. Obviously, if something is torn, that won't work.

Otherwise, I'm surprised they agreed to anything. My textured sheet wouldn't hold any filament, be it PETG or PLA, from the day I took it out of the packaging. When I contacted support, they simply parroted that sheets are considered expendables.
