Upgraded RAMBo housing for the printer

Hey guys, I wasn't too fond of the original housing, so I searched Thingiverse and found this: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1102368

It took me about 15 hours to print it, excluding some failed prints in the beginning (I'm pretty new to 3D-printing). Then there was the time of installing it all and I also took the opportunity to crimp a lot of the too long cables, especially some of the motor cables.

Here is my final product:

The now tidy insides:

And of course 😉

I really recommend this one. Maintenance is really easy, as you only need to remove the side panel to be able to access the electronics without affecting the cable spirals as they are firmly in place.

All the cooling holes makes the printing a bitch though, and you need to have perfect z-calibration otherwise the print will be ruined. It took me well over 10 attempts to get the first part correct, but after that it was a breeze.

I use Slic3r. I tweaked the 0,20mm normal profile. Here's the settings I used: http://pastebin.com/83jC1KEd
Choose Download and save it as config.ini and load it into Slic3r.
