Did you use the preslices Original Prusa gcode files? I provided them with a printer so they co do this 🙂
Re: RC AIRPLANE
Perhaps tell us about the parts 3d construction ?
Re: RC AIRPLANE
I found the models for this plane on youtube and it looks like a perfect project. I ordered the parts for the plane and can't wait to build it on my 3d printer ! Unfortunately (I can't wait to do this either) I first have to build my Pursa when it arrives. I was so happy to see that an amazing project like this is made on a prusa mk2!
Re: RC AIRPLANE
What prop and size is that by chance? I am building the Spitfire and all i could source was a bone colored 9x6.
Did the Mustang have servo-operated landing gear?
Re: RC AIRPLANE
Hi Jon
No, the Spitfire and Mustangs do not have a landing gear at all. That's the reason I bought myself a Messerschmitt Model, otherwise I would have bought the spitfire model ( I don't known that my new printer will have a free spitfire model 😀 ). A retractable landing gear is only made on the Thunderbolt as far as I know.
But have your self a look on the webpage of the creator of the spitfire:

Yeah, you're correct. There are other models with a retractable landing gear like the Lockheed 😀
Re: RC AIRPLANE
These planes are very interesting
Just have a look at another design that is coming from 3d print lab

You don't have to R C fly to enjoy these plane models.
Re: RC AIRPLANE
Did you know that a full Spitfire MkXVI is included with the newest drivers? Just load it to pronterface and start printing!

I just finished mine yesterday, it was really easy. Electronics is going to be installed soon .
Notice the whitening? it's from the activator I was using, therefore wouldn't recommend it spraying directly to the surface as seen in the assembly videos.
