Ostrich Egg Holder
Hmm... Yea... A while ago my Mother decided to gift me an empty Ostrich Egg which for most of the time just laid there in a corner of my rack looking kinda... meh so I decided to 3D print a stand for it:
Initially, I had planned for the stand to be like 10cm tall but due to an accident in F360 when modeling it I managed to remove too much material of the legs which resulted in them becoming REALLY short like maybe ⅓ of the intended length and kinda intrigued by it I decided to give that shortened version a try.
Kinda artsy while still being a functional item =)
The piece was obviously printed hollow and upside down with only 3 perimeters ( 1.2mm ) contacting the bed.
I might consider giving it a try with just one for an even crisper top edge xD

Nice stand - but I keep thinking of a Politician's face gracing that egg...

Nice egg stand. Did you publish the design anywhere for sharing? My mom has an egg that my (now passed away) father gave her one Mother's day as a silly gift. She usually uses a napkin ring as a stand, but I think I'd like to print her one of those.

It turned out very cool. Very harmoniously fit into the interior. Not even to say that the egg was separately from the stand made. Very impressive.
