O-scale flatcar to carry the 'diggers'

Finished flatcar, construction of which was featured in the thread on the Bed Weld Adhesive here:

https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/english-forum-general-discussion-announcements-and-releases/product-review-layerneer-original-bed-weld-3d-printing-adhesive/

Diggers (known in the States as 'Bobcats', a genericized trademark) shown in another thread here in this section.

Shown below by a wayside station, downloaded from the net and printed on the MK3S and then in a freight consist, shown with the subway train pulling into the station below.

Nice maybe we can help each other. I’m not a train buff but I enjoy rendering them. I’ve just printed a 1909 Westinghouse Steeple Cab. I’ve gone overboard and fine tuning bits. I’ve had two experts help and eventually the three which were shipped to Northern British Columbia will ride the rails again. A tragedy got in the way of the project. Covid and complications has killed the two gentlemen who manufactured custom drives we were going to buy six of. Do you have plans to create my own custom carriage. Brass wheels no problem. Because the interior is fully detailed the engine cowls or a hidden compartment in the roof are only location for a controller. It has 5 ore cars to pull up hills so we are pretty sure we will need two drives. After number 10,11,12 are painted and running I’m going to post the parts. I printed the first test train in ASA. 42 parts. Everything fits. I need drive trains

By custom carriage, I assume you mean either the active motorized assembly and/or the trucks (wheel units).

Sorry, I don't have any plans for either.  I've used scrap/spare trucks that I've acquired at train shows for the cars that I have made.

For the actual drive trains, I have yet to produce a motorized unit, but those who build their own models usually use the internals of otherwise junk ('for parts only') engines or smaller motorized units.  Older units will have AC/DC motors and gear trains reducing the speed to the driving wheels.  Modern units often have a vertically-mounted DC type motor and a worm gear to couple to the driving wheels.

Larger train shows will usually have several vendors selling the above.

Yes. It’s a bit of an oddball. It was an electric industrial yard train. Double ended. The short wheel base on the trucks and large full size wheel. So I’m stuck at creating my own. I have 4 sets of axels and a couple motors being sent to me. The new Westinghouse and the General Electric which were huge replaced this older model
