Nice ! I had seen that model on Thingiverse & instantly thought "good for MM".
Curious - do you get a better surface finish/less stringing on the direct drive printer v/s the MM ?

No and no. KISS has Preload function, which does much the same as linear advance. On the MM, retraction is 2.5mm on one printer and 1.5 on the other.
